Heya!

Not sure how you came across this blog or whether the reason you’re here is due to me sending you incessant links to check this out, either way I’m beyond stoked that you found your way here and I hope over time you’ll find yourself here more often than you would like to admit :).

I’m Selma. Well actually my full name is Selma-Penna Utonih. Shades of Selma is the portion of the internet I have decided to take for myself. For most of my life I have been very guarded on sharing my personal life and thoughts on the internet, I’m that person that after seeing conspiracy videos on YouTube immediately deleted my Facebook account and vowed to never share more than was necessary in order to stick it to the man, mind you I still use a slew of digital gadgets so can one ever truly hide from the said “man”?.

Anywho randomness aside, I have decided to use this space to share my thoughts, experiences and just have a space where I have digitally captured all the weird and wonderful phases that I have had and that are yet to come. Plus I’m hoping my future husband can read my blog posts to me one day when I’m in an old age home in order to trigger memories of my life in an effort to cure my Alzheimer’s. Yeah I’ve watched The Notebook way too many times.

In any case, welcome to my life and brain. I will be sharing aspects of my career as an Energy analyst, my newly found side passion for philosophy, my travel experiences and all the hobbies that I decide to try as I figure out what I really like. This is all new for me but I hope over time that my blogging style will come forth and I hope you find whatever I post interesting and if you don’t at least out of maternal obligation I know my mother will.

Alas let this new chapter of my life begin.
